Personal Profile
Denver Riddell is a professional guitarist, drummer, bass player, and entrepreneur in the GTA. He's played guitar live since 2009, and started a family owned and operated art business called Amp and Stylus Art in 2021. Denver's passion for music is second to none, and he is the lead guitarist of the rock band Hey Lady. He has six years of Legal Education and an extensive knowledge of copyright law and contracts.

FOUNDER,
AMP & STYLUS ART
I founded Amp and Stylus Art, an art business operating in Durham Region that produces high quality music and custom drawings. I handle everything from social media management and marketing to music production and promotion.

VOLUNTEER,
SMALL WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL
Volunteered at the Small World Music Festival in Toronto, Ontario. Handed out pamphlets, built signage, and put up posters to promote event. Escorted artists from entrance to VIP area. Spoke with numerous guests and had them participate in QR code surveys to gather data aimed at improving future events.

LEAD GUITARIST, HEY LADY
Lead guitarist of the rock band Hey Lady. I manage the band, contribute to song writing, and coordinate live events. One of the bands founding five members, I also book spaces for us to practice and manage social media.

Studying fundamentals of the music industry, such as how music is recorded, published, and marketed. Studying live sound engineering and event planning for all types of venues.

Studied the law in Ontario with a focus on contract law, copyright law, and provincial offences. Attended numerous trials at the Toronto Court Services in Scarborough. Used legal research to write defenses for clients charged under the Provincial Offences Act.

Studied human rights law with a focus on disability advocacy and feminist legal theory. Executive member of the Students for Sensible Drug Policy, a non-profit student led organization that educated the community about harm reduction and safer drug use.
